We have received some great news, the SADC have agreed in principal to have a statue of Samuel Ryder erected in the city centre.
We shall be running a Golf Day and Evening Event at The Grove near Watford and shall be raising funds on a year on year basis to help facilitate with the production of his statue and to run the golf tournament. In time we hope to have this on the European PGA.
Would all prospective sponsors who are interested in promoting themselves for this event, please contact Peter Christie on 01923 443335 or 07880 565086 or email to peterchristie28@hotmail.com

PRESS RELEASE
It’s A Fine Life for the Impact Theatre Company
Following their sell out success of “Fiddler on the Roof” (2007), the Impact Theatre Company’s latest production, Lionel Bart’s “Oliver!”, is set to be another box office hit.
I’d Do Anything not to miss this production, playing between 25th and 29th June at the Arts Depot in London. It has a huge cast including 32 children from the ages of 8 to 13. For many, this is their first experience of appearing on stage and they love every second of it. Guy Woyda, one of two sharing the role of the Boy For Sale, said “playing Oliver is quite scary but it’s also lots of fun.”
As with all of Impact’s productions, all profits from the show are being donated to charity. This year the beneficiary will be the Bobath Centre, a teaching and treatment centre providing specialist care for children and adults with cerebral palsy.
Professional actress and director Amanda Noar (“Brookside”, “Hollyoaks”, “Coronation Street”), who has directed and choreographed this production, says “since the company started we have Picked A Pocket Or Two to the tune of more than £50,000 for different charities”.
Neil Morrissey, patron of the Impact Theatre company, will be Reviewing The Situation at the opening night, Wednesday 25th June, and attending some of the other performances too, lending his consistently great support and high profile to Impact’s charity work.
