Welcome to Zaza
Zaza Restaurant is a charming listed building nestled in Church Street in the heart of Rickmansworth town centre. Inside hosts an Italian culinary experience not to be missed.
The restaurant offers dining in three rooms over two floors with a garden for al fresco eating during the hot summer months. The two upstairs rooms are ideal for private dining in which we can cater from 15 to 40 people. We have great fixed price party menus available which can be tailored to meet your personal requirements.
Renowned for specialising in fine Italian cuisine, Zaza is home of freshly made pasta, stone baked pizza and many varied meat and vegetarian dishes. Our specials emphasise fresh fish, which is delivered daily. In addition to this there is a great value fixed price lunch menu, which is available Monday to Saturday.

Wines from America..
Wine production in the USA started in earnest around 1770 by Spanish missionaries in California, Major wine production shifted to the Sonoma Valley in northern California largely because of its excellent climate for growing grapes. Early on, the Napa Valley demonstrated leadership in producing quality wine. This then came to an abrupt end when a San Francisco earthquake destroyed an estimated 30 million gallons of wine in storage. Then came Prohibition from 1920 through 1933.
Some wineries managed to survive by making wine for religious services. However, grape growers prospered, because making up to 200 gallons of wine at home per year was legal, such production increased from an estimated four million gallons before Prohibition to 90 million five years after the imposition of the law. Unfortunately, quality grapes do not ship well, so producers ripped out their vines and replaced them with tough but poor quality grapes.
The reputation of the state's wines suffered accordingly and it is only in the last 30 years has it got itself of its knees to become currently the worlds largest exporter of wine, although this is by in large thanks to the worlds love affair with Rose wines
This month we bring you some quality wines from two of the country's best producers Sebastiani from Sonoma County and Ch. Ste. Michelle from Washington State, plus a Rosé which is a classic example of where the country's bread and butter currently lies
Our wine tasting evenings are very popular so book early to avoid dissapointment!
